Who can apply for the Summer Credit Courses in Italy?
Students between the ages of 13 – 19 residing in the province of Ontario may apply to obtain an Ontario Secondary School Credit. Out of province students may apply, please contact us for more details.

What if a student is not a Canadian Citizen?
If a student in not a Canadian citizen, at least 3 months before departure, please contact your nearest Embassy/Consulate of Italy for Visa Application.

What do I need to do to apply?
1. Complete the online application using the Google form and click SUBMIT: https://forms.gle/b3rTCwLspqhHX2jk6 
There is no fee for the online application. You will receive an email soon afterwards to confirm receipt of the application. Please note that the online application will reserve a space in the Summer Credit Program, but the registration is not complete, and participation will not be confirmed  until the first payment has been received.
2.Payments will be accepted only via e-transfer. This can be done through your banking institution by e-mailing the payment to travel@ventrescatravel.ca

Please write “NCDSB Credit Program Italy 2025” in the message box.

Note: The funds will be automatically deposited into the travel agency TRUST Account as per TICO regulations. Your banking institution’s confirmation of payment will serve as your receipt. Once all payment installments have been deposited, the agency will send an acknowledgement to the payee.

Ensure all installment payments are made prior to or on the due dates (see schedule below) via e-transfer as indicated above: travel@ventrescatravel.ca.

Note: If you are taking Photography, e-transfer the additional fee ($200) on or before Friday, January 17, 2025.

PROGRAM FEE SCHEDULE:  
Total Cost: $7,650.00 per student (additional fee for $200.00 for Photography)

Make the following payments before or on the deadline dates:

Friday, December 13, 2024 ($ 400.00)

Friday, January 17, 2025 ($ 2,000.00)

Friday, February 14, 2025 ($ 2,000.00)

Friday, March 14, 2025 ($ 2,000.00)

Friday, April 11, 2025 ($ 1,250.00)

Second Credit Payment for Photography students: Friday, January 17, 2025 ($200.00 via e-transfer)

Other costs related to trip (NOT included with total cost):
$75 cash gratuity fee collected in May.

How do I know that my application has been received?
When you apply online you should receive an automatic email notification sent to the email address of the parent or guardian.

If I don’t need the credit, may I still participate? Yes, you may. Please contact us for further details.

How do I decide what subject to choose? Several courses are offered but finalized offerings are dependent on enrollment. Please contact us directly for more information.

What does the fee include? Fee Includes:
a) Round trip air fare from Canada to Italy.
b) Departure taxes, service charges and comprehensive health and cancellation insurance.
c) Accommodation in hotels and all daily breakfasts, most lunches and all dinners.
d) Round trip coach from airport to campus.
e) Instruction by Ontario qualified teachers. All credit programs offered in cooperation with local Ontario District School Boards.
f) All excursions on itinerary (Rome, Pompeii, Venice, Florence, Assisi and Ortona beaches).
g)Local guides and entrance fees to museums, art galleries and monuments.
h) Use of textbooks.

Fee does not include:
a) Round trip ground transportation to Toronto.
b) Consumable school supplies
c) Art material (depending on course chosen)
d) Items of a personal nature
e) Data plans

What happens if I need to cancel my application?
You can cancel your application, but cancellation fees apply. Please see the Program Details for the fee schedule.

I have family in Italy. Can I arrange to visit them at the same time? Yes. Please contact us for more details and arrangements.
